Cleveland - Caywood's perspective
Cleveland: home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That's the sole reason why we went there. Other than this nice museum on the harbor, Cleveland is very mediocre. Dirty streets, not a busy downtown, awful roads - I wasn't impressed. I was, however, thoroughly impressed with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Six levels of movies, music, memorabilia from famous artists and musicians, signatures of inductees, and so much more. This was easily my favorite museum I've ever been too. There were things to read but not too much, and tons of visuals. See many, many pictures take here below.
I was very fortunate to have some family that I haven't seen in forever drive 2.5 hours to see us in Cleveland. Uncle Marc (my dad's twin), Aunt Patty, and my cousin Marah drove from Pittsburg to join us for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and take in the museum. What a great day! I haven't seen these family members since 2007 or 2008. They were so sweet to treat us to lunch, where we caught each other up on the last few years, and introduced Feliks into the family. The catching up continued throughout the museum until sadly it was time to leave. They again were to generous and sent us on our way with a care package of water, grapes, huge pretzel sticks, and a massive amount of homemade chocolate chip cookies... All greatly appreciated :)
Although I didn't like the city of Cleveland, we had a great day here that I am seriously glad we didn't skip. My only advice for this city: there isn't much else to do, but the R&R Hall of Fame is definitely worth the visit. ($22 general admission; $18 with student ID)

Cleveland - Feliks' perspective
The only reason we put Cleveland on the map was to stock at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As we drove into Cleveland, we had some time to burn and I attempted to find a car wash to rinse off the van. The roads were so bad that we abandoned our search. We did drive through some very sketchy neighborhoods, but also saw some nice local spots. Not much else I can say about Cleveland, except for downtown was noticeably dead on a Saturday afternoon.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is by far one of the best museums I have ever been to in my life. I am so glad that we made the stop to check this out. It was six floors of everything from blue grass to rockabilly, to blues to classic rock to hip-hop. Our original plan was to spend two or three hours going through the exhibits, get some lunch with Caywood's family, and be on our way. By the time lunch came around, we had not even made it half way through the first floor. We both decided that we would need more time, and that our original plan was out the window.
We met Caywood's family on her dad's side for lunch, which was my first time meeting the Colemans from Pittsburg - her dad's twin brother, his wife, and their daughter. I can't express how much this family defines the love and care a family should have for one another. We ate lunch at Hard Rock - ask your waiter about their $2 off coupon.
We got back to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame around 2:00. We then spent the next two and a half hours going through the rest of the museum. I will say this: the four and a half hours total that we spent there was still not enough to fully see everything that was there. At some points it was a little overwhelming, but for the most part it was very well-organized and presented, showcasing the artists, their path to success, and the influence they had on other musicians. I highly recommend devoting an entire day if you are a huge music buff in order to really get the full experience. I personally think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is underrated when we were looking for things to do across the US. I love music, and how it has changed this world. And this museum helps you to understand what music really has done.
Overall, one of the best educational stops we've had so far. I highly recommend a visit. Parking was medium difficulty; the metered parking Saturday and Sunday is free, and we were able to find free parking a few blocks away. Roads suck.
