Sweden - Caywood's perspective
Last minute, we decided to make a day trip to Malmo, Sweden so we could visit the country. You hear the most about Stockholm (the capital), but it was a long train ride that we would have had to come right back from and we didn’t deem it worth it. The night before we also met someone who had just been there and didn’t feel like it was worth it. So Malmo was decided upon - it was only a 30 minute train ride from Copenhagan, and its attractions intrigued me. We chose a simple two things to do in Malmo, and walk the city in between so we could see some from the local perspective. Our first stop was a building known as the Turning Torso. Right along the shoreline of Malmo this building was truly unique - I’ve never seen a building like it. It is the tallest skyscraper in all of Sweden, and it was really interesting because it literally was the only tall building in Malmo's skyline. But we couldn't get over the question - what is housed there???
Our second spot to check out in Malmo was meant to be a relaxing one. Ribersborgs Kallbadhus is a bath/sauna house in Sweden that teaches the healthy benefits of going from a hot sauna to the cold winter waters of the ocean. We weren’t sure what to expect here, but thought it would be a nice and relaxing break for less than $8 USD per person (with no time limit). We were surprised to find out upon arrival that the (high) majority of people do this in the nude. We learned that the usual method is to go from the sauna, to the freezing water outside, and back into the sauna. The entire place was split into a left side for men and a right side for women, with one coed humidity sauna in the middle. We both put towels on to not be nude and headed into the mixed sauna. After about ten minutes of sweating, we split ways and jumped into the cold waters. It was freezing! But such a cool, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Back into the saunas we went for ten minutes, and then repeat.

Sweden - Feliks' perspective
We only had two things that we wanted to do in Malmo, see the spine building and do the Swedish spa. I’m sure that Malmo has a lot more to offer but that is all we had time for. Pretty much as soon as we left the train station in Malmo the building was visible. we walked closer to get a better view and the entire time we were looking at this thing the only thing that bothered us was ‘why?’ The building was awesome, an engineering marvel, a master piece of its time. I’m not just saying that, it was really cool. But why build this spectacular structure so far away from the city center? This thing needed to be in a popular area and not next to a gas station. Either way it was worth the walk.
We did stop into a local grocery store that was more like a Walmart and had a fun time trying to figure out what was what. We ended up getting a half chicken for lunch pretty much because we knew 100% for sure that it was chicken. Needless to say it was really good chicken and I give the Swedish people props for it.
The spa was next on the list and was a decent walk from the spine building. I can’t real say much about the spa because it's something you need to experience for yourself. Let’s just say that Swedish people are very comfortable with one another on a level that some families will never reach. It was awesome to sit in a sauna and take a cold dip in the ocean after - gets the heart racing.
Overall, Malmo was great. I would definitely go back to try and see more of the city. WiFi was pretty easily accessible and the people were very friendly.
